Frequently asked questions

How accurate are your edit predictions?
Across closed engagements, top-ranked guides and constructs have shown 85 to 95 percent wet-lab confirmation rates for on-target editing and expression, substantially above manual design approaches (typically 50 to 70 percent) because we calibrate scoring against proprietary validation datasets.
What file formats do you accept?
FASTA for target sequences and constructs, BED for genomic coordinates, GenBank for full plasmid designs, and structured CSV for prior edit outcome data. We can also start from a gene symbol and GRCh38 coordinates.
Can you integrate with our internal sequence databases?
Yes. On Full Optimization and Enterprise tiers we support secure data transfer, on-prem deployment for sensitive IP, and direct connectors to common LIMS and ELN systems.
What's your typical success rate in wet-lab validation?
Across CRISPR guide and base editing engagements, the median client reports acceptable on-target activity in 80 percent or more of the top 5 guides we deliver. Codon optimization clients typically see 3× or greater expression improvement vs. prior constructs.
Do you sign IP and confidentiality agreements?
Always. We sign a mutual NDA before any technical discussion and assign all generated IP to the client by default.
